Photo Album: Long Term Water Damage, Black Mold and Kitchen Backsplash Upgrade in Granger, IN

Following the discovery of black mold surrounding an improperly sealed window, homeowners called Monroe Restoration to remediate the issue. A containment system was constructed to protect the health of the homeowners and the drywall and trim were removed. As the project progressed, extensive water damage was discovered around the window and structurally needed to be repaired prior to the installation of the new custom window. In addition to this project, the homeowners requested an upgrade to their kitchen by adding modern backsplash tiles. At the completion of the project, Monroe Restoration had VERY happy homeowners!

The siding needed to be removed during the new window installation. Prior to the extraction of the old window, structural damage was discovered. The area was reframed, new water preventative wrapping was added, and the siding was put back in place. The end result was a beautiful new window that will no longer leak water!
